Jeanne Battey Thomson

Condolences to Agnes Compton Stierwald, who lost husband George last December. They had sold their beloved home in East Orleans, MA, and bought a condo in Yarmouth Port. George had been ill for several months and died three weeks later, a few days shy of his 60th anniversary of ordination as an Episcopal minister. The couple, married for 58 years, had spent recent years traveling. Compie is grateful for her good health. She has been painting watercolors and getting involved with charitable organizations worldwide, and is proud that her grown children are similarly involved in global concerns. She was sorry to have missed the 65th reunion of our class, which Dr. Moore referred to as the “Class of Presidents.”
