Ginny Long Murphy and Fran Menning Loftus thought it was “terrific,” despite the disappointment of looking for classmates who turned out not to be there. Val Burkhardt Marier describes those who were there—including several first-time Reunion attendees—as “a group of savvy and soignée ladies.” She also describes hearing a veritable chorus of “You haven’t changed!” and “You look wonderful!” Carol Krentzman Ginsburg and her husband (many of us brought ours along) enjoyed three terrific dinners at Reunion—at the Tang Museum, the Saratoga Auto Museum and Spa State Park, and Mabou, a local home-decor store. She enjoyed some mini-classes, too, particularly one about the Hudson River. Tina Matkovic-Spiro was happy to see old friends again but also enjoyed getting to know women she’d hardly known at Skidmore—a wonderful incentive for all of us to mark our calendars for our 45th reunion in 2009. Linda Glasband Platt and husband Mike are proud first-time grandparents. Linda is still selling residential real estate, while Mike is in the Mexican restaurant business. The couple enjoys exploring in the US and abroad. |
