She says she now knows the true meaning of “count your blessings.” Susan began her career as an elementary and special-ed teacher in the Scotia-Glenville and Wappingers (N.Y.) school districts. In NYC Douglas Gray produced The Jackie Wilson Story for a successful four-week run at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem. His production of Late Nite Catechism is running in Seattle for the seventh year. Douglas, who was general manager of Seattle’s historic 3,000-seat Paramount Theatre and oversaw its $32 million renovation, continues to consult on other theater renovation projects. After attending this summer’s writers institute at Skidmore, he is now “writing a novel about my experiences on around-the-world cruises.” Wife Leslie Koch, CEO for the Fund for Public Schools, is involved in restructuring the NYC public school system. |
