She works full-time, running an orthopedic and urological surgery unit at Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI. She encourages Skidmore friends to look her up if they are in the area. Laurie Rogers-Smalley is a supervising public-health nurse for the Westchester County Department of Health. Son Bryan is a senior at Mary Washington College, son Craig is a sophomore at the University of Rhode Island, and daughter Alaina is a senior at Valhalla High School. Laurie’s husband, Peter, works for Connecticut Business Systems. Barbara Bishop Ward and husband Tony are raising two active kids: Emma, 8, and BE, 6. Now that the children are in school, Barbara has returned to teaching art to nursery and pre-K students at private school. She is also building a consulting business, painting mura
