Peter Kaplan was featured in the April 24 International Herald Tribune in an article entitled “Siren of rebounding markets is potent lure for ‘active traders.’” Peter is head trading instructor at Dominion Trading Institute, founded last year. The English-major-turned-stock-trader began “raking in stupendous returns from my trading hobby while trying to write a novel.” After he read The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Day Trading Like a Pro and took a course, he started losing money. In 2002 he tossed what he had previously learned and developed his own trading style. In addition to teaching at Dominion, he trades out of his Manhattan apartment.
