Erica Andersen Jerome and husband Jason announce the birth of son Logan in April. At three weeks, the big guy was already the average height of a three-month-old.

Joly Herman and husband Martin returned to San Francisco, CA, after living in Berlin, Germany, where they loved the pace of life but not the 20-percent unemployment rate, which created a very sluggish business climate. Joly, a freelance writer, has been writing poetry and finishing a long fiction project. She recently took in a play with retired Skidmore English professor Barry Goldensohn and his wife. While attending the Kansas City, MO, wedding of Alec Junge, Joly ran into Manhattan resident Chip Schenck.

Douglas Fraim was promoted to account manager at PerkettPR, a Boston-based marketing and PR firm. He holds a master’s in public relations from Boston University.

This fall Rachel Malinow Bergman is presenting a paper, at a conference of the Society for Music Theory, called “Set on Notes: Palindromes and Other Symmetrical Structures in the Music of Victor Ullmann.” She is co-founder of the Mason Modern Music Ensemble at George Mason University, where she teaches music theory, and has taught at Skidmore’s Summer Flute Institute for 10 years.

In NYC Jill Richardson O’Brien and husband Tom O’Brien ’89 welcomed son Nathan in August.

In Burlingame, CA, Todd Master and Kara Gardner ’93 welcomed son Brevin in May. Todd practices law, and Kara teaches at the University of San Francisco and occasionally at Stanford.

I recently ran into Jon Brackis ’91 in Charlotte at the YMCA pool. He and his wife, Anne, live in Charlotte with their two kids. Jon works for Wachovia and has lived in North Carolina for about two years.
