Sari Bultman moved to Harrisburg, PA, to take a position doing political, grassroots, and advocacy work on behalf of Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania Advocates. She can be reached at saribultman@yahoo.com. Amanda Weyerbacher attends Cornell’s graduate school of biomedical sciences, pursuing a doctorate in pharmacology. Alexis Karetzky is a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch in NYC. In Philadelphia Lara Pence is pursuing a doctoral degree in psychology at Widener University and can be reached at larapence@hotmail.com. Jerry Maraia is a second-year student in NYU’s graduate program in educational theater. He enjoyed teaching and doing outreach theater in London and Dublin this summer. Elsa Peters, an MDiv candidate at Union Theological Seminary, is involved with Seminarians for Change, whose members “represent the next generation of faith leaders hoping to build a more socially just, truly pluralistic relationship between religion and politics.” A press release for their kickoff event, which took place just before the Republican National Convention, stated, “We must act…to prevent the misuse of religious language in political and public settings.…Both at home and abroad, our current administration has used religious rhetoric to promote policies and to defend actions that undermine the value of human life.”
