Medalist
Anne Palamountain shows the Scribner Medal she received at the Palamountain Scholarship benefit in August. The former Skidmore first lady was awarded the college’s top citation for her tireless dedication and service—including her constancy as the founder and guiding light of the endowed scholarship fund. She remarked, “I’m very moved and touched. This means everything to me. Skidmore has been the core of my life.” Those attending the gala helped honor its standard-bearer with record-breaking generosity in direct donations, spirited auction bidding, and a “fund a future” challenge that raised bonus dollars for scholarships this year. —SR
