Alleyne Williams Morison says last spring’s celebration of her late husband Art’s life “turned into a big family reunion.” No surprise, given all the great times she and Art gave the kids and grandkids at the lake. Willy, incidentally, seems to be the preferred boat driver for the water-skiers in her family.

Via Betty Eastman Peyton I heard that Ruth Jones Lindsay’s son Thomas ’83 is living in Saratoga and singing in the Bethesda Church choir. Several ’39ers were frequent attendees there many years ago. I also learned that Irma Newman Golde still enjoys playing the organ and bridge, although eye problems keep her from driving.

Eastie enjoyed receiving a thank-you note from a young man in New Hampshire who was the recipient of tuition assistance as a result of a fund Eastie contributed to. It’s nice to know that some of the younger generation appreciate things like that.

Aggie Gregson suffered a broken hip last year.

Like many of the rest of us, Ruthie Jones says her driving is limited to short jaunts. However, she still drives across the Rip Van Winkle Bridge so Malcolm, her Scottie, can be properly trimmed.
