Adele Altenburg Mardirosian writes, “The time has come to relinquish my role as class secretary to my successor, Peggy Kahles Guyder. I want to thank those who faithfully submitted news to me over the years and urge you to keep Peggy abreast of your activities.” Adele reports that the class was sparely represented at Reunion: only 17, including four veterans, plus a few spouses and guests. “However, what we lacked in quantity we made up for in quality time, catching up on our lives and reminiscing about our years at Skidmore. It was a truly memorable occasion.”

In March Adele and husband Set cruised some of the Peruvian rivers that form the Amazon. They saw all kinds of wildlife, fished for piranhas (“very tasty”), visited native villages, and were blessed by the local shaman.

Joan Meyer Bramson now has nine grandchildren, ages 4 to 16. She spends the winters in Florida and summers in New Jersey.
