I had the pleasure of witnessing one of the most romantic weddings ever. Alisa Feinstein and Joshua Raymond were married in Wyckoff, NJ, on May 29. Skiddies in attendance were Peter Durant ’92 (best man), Alison Raymond ’96, Alicia Lightfoot Campbell, Andrew Penchuk, Alissa Ptacek, Dina Silver, and Kim Schuman. The newlyweds honeymooned in Italy and on a Mediterranean cruise.

Naomi Lieberman Braun is a health educator and writer at health technology company Health Media (not the Michigan Peer Review Organization, as reported in the summer Scope). She and husband Tom live in Ann Arbor, MI, with daughter Olivia, born in December 2004.

John Hoberg and wife Kat Likkel live in Los Angeles, where they are life partners as well as writing partners, having worked on several sitcoms including ABC’s Hope & Faith. They’ve recently started writing for NBC’s new fall comedy My Name is Earl.

“Proud father” Reynolds Burgund announces that Eliza Darcy Burgund was married to Kevin Nicholas Wahl on March 12. The newlyweds are living in Houston, TX, where Darcy is a professor of psychology at Rice University. In addition to teaching, she is doing research in cognitive neuroscience.

Shafia Zaloom is a teacher in San Francisco, CA, where she lives with her husband and two children.

John and Katie Lord Naples announce the birth of their second child, Molly, on June 17. She joins sister Samantha, 4.

Brittany Hoff married Michael Feinson on May 8 in Washington, DC. Skiddies in attendance were Beth Steingard Murphy and Dave Murphy (oldest daughter Alexandra Murphy served as flower girl), Kim Pikul, Lauren Rosen Levinson, Maritza Rivera ’91, Kim Stevens ’91, Dennis Bruce ’92, Kirsten Fawcett-Dubow ’94, and Terry Dubow.

Tate Rice and wife Becky have a son, Avery, 2, and a daughter, Carlyn, 4. Tate earned a doctorate in physical therapy last year and was recently promoted to area director of physical therapy for Concentra Health Services in New Jersey. He also manufactures rehabilitation equipment and sells it both nationally and internationally.

Fran Kirmser was creative producer for the off-Broadway hit The Jazz Nut, an imaginative adaptation of The Nutcracker ballet, last December at the Duke Theater. This version featured a heroine who travels throughout the world, and puppets that the audience was invited to join on stage. Performers included Susannah Harris Dicker ’91 and Karen Lacy ’91, who starred as Clara. The New York Times described the show as “an inspired production that happily mixes Nutcracker sweetness with an abundance of cultural spice.” Fran can be reached at frankirmser@hotmail.com.
