Marie-Louise Flinker Putney had a delightful telephone visit with Dottie Burgess Everett after Easter. Family, church, and various volunteer jobs keep her busy.

Alice Porter moved two blocks down the street from her former residence, downsizing from a
four-bedroom two-story to a two-bedroom single-level home. Says Kit, “At this age, who needs
a big house and stairs!”

Phyllis Emmerich Blair will hold her seventh solo art show since 1971 from November 15 to December 15 at Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens in West Palm Beach, FL. The exhibit features
oils and watercolors painted since 2000, plus some bronze and marble sculptures from the 1990s.

Charlotte Hilgert Troubetatroy’s family informed me that Charlotte passed away in March and wrote, “She is now in a peaceful place where sickness, sadness, and pain are no longer a concern. Our lives feel so empty without her.”

Ronnie Whiting Brandon sent me a program from a service in memory of Edith DeMott Hutchison, who died in February. Edith will be greatly missed by her many friends.
