Julie Connors Benedict and husband Garth announce the birth of son Noah on May 20.

In Glens Falls, NY, Jason Polunci is restoring his Victorian home to its former glory. In the
past year, he has directed Torch Song Trilogy and The Santaland Diaries with Jonathan
Whitton ’01, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Dress in Art starring Christopher Rich of
Murphy Brown fame, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and a stage adaptation of TV’s The Golden Girls marking the show’s 20th anniversary. Also Jason has raised over $50,000 this year for
the Matthew Shepard Foundation, the Rainbow Division, and the Lower Adirondack Regional
Arts Council. A PhD candidate in performance studies, he was recently named director of special events for Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany. He spends as much time as possible with his
niece Giavana, 3.

Neela Vaswani received this year’s O’Henry Award for Short Fiction for The Pelvis Series,
reprinted in Where the Long Grass Bends, an anthology published by Random House. For more
