Deborah Frankel Reese
Alexandra Wilbert Fleischman and Tom Hays spent January through March in Tucson, AZ, and were “blown away by the magic of the desert and the mountains.” They played golf and tennis and did a lot of sightseeing. They also enjoyed a delightful evening with Patti Foreman Balbirer and her husband, Art.
Betsy Hosynek-Welsh and husband Jurij, who live in the San Francisco Bay area, celebrated 30 years of marriage this year. Jurij is a dermatologist at UCSF. Son Andrej is a massage therapist, caterer, singer, and environmental activist; son Justin films snowboarding events around the world. Betsy and Jurij enjoy gardening, biking, and swimming in their free time. They traveled to Morocco with Judy Meinert Rist earlier this year and attended the wedding of the son of Nancy
Bigelow Sinclair ’64 in southern California.
Shirley Fleming Woodward’s daughter Sarah was married in 2006 in a seaside ceremony in Laguna Beach, CA. The newlyweds live in Torrance.
Carol Brush Nicholson and husband Carlton spent the summer traveling to North Carolina in their RV, reconnecting with folks they met last year. Carol is a certified imagery practitioner specializing in energy healing similar to therapeutic touch. She is planning on taking a trip to Italy next year to see those wonderful works she learned about in Art History 101!
