Susan Detwiler Nitahara’s daughter Lauren is a senior pursuing an Asian studies major with teaching certification at Hobart and William Smith. Son Christopher, a junior at Bridgewater Raritan High School, is searching for colleges. Susan changed jobs at Johnson & Johnson and now works in regulatory operations as a global dossier leader, managing the approval of new drugs.
Holly Roberts Adams’s oldest daughter, Alyson, graduated from Providence College in Rhode Island in May and plans to join the Peace Corps. Holly has two daughters still at home: Mary, a seventh-grader, and Lizzy, who is in fourth grade.
Wendy Florentine Parente is proud that her eldest daughter, Christine ’10, is at Skidmore. Son Ozzie, a sophomore at Wesleyan, plays varsity soccer. Daughter Stephanie is a high-school sophomore, and youngest child Rebecca is an eighth-grader.
Mary Bates and husband John Pucci live in Northampton, MA, with children Joanna and David. Mary is teaching first-graders at a local public school and loves it. She would enjoy hearing from fellow classmates who live in or are visiting western Massachusetts.
Mary Chunko is a speechwriter for Ambassador Richard Griffin, assistant secretary of the Bureau of Diplomatic Security and director of the Office of Foreign Missions at the US Department of State.
