Ellen Bernard Taylor lives in the Orlando, FL, area, where she trains child welfare workers. Her son, Chris, is a high-school freshman.
Mariah Hunt is still working in advertising and marketing at Digitas in Boston. She and husband Dave Legare live in Clinton, MA, with sons Connor, 12, and Wesley, 8. Connor is in his second consecutive year on the all-star Little League team. The family vacationed at their summer house near Belgrade, ME.
Mike Bucar spends his summers in the Adirondack hamlet of Keene Valley, just east of Lake Placid, to serve as head pro and manager of the Keene Valley Country Club.
After 12 years as a stay-at-home mom, Oona Gargan Cadorin began “paid work” as youth services coordinator for the Center for Living with Dying. She is the mother of Alex, 14, and Susie, 11. In January she will be a full time K–12 substitute teacher for a local school district.
April Niessen Flynn and her family returned to the US in June after spending the last five years in Germany, where husband Joe was chief of oncology at a US military hospital. He will rejoin civilian life at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, where he will manage the oncology department and conduct research. The family will sorely miss life in Europe but vows to go back.
Megan Sanford works in institutional equities at Morgan Stanley in the Philadelphia, PA, area. Daughter Alexandra is a freshman at Yale, and son Michael is a midshipman at the US Naval Academy. Megan sees former roommate Martha Seidner frequently; Martha is VP of Smith Design Associates in Glen Ridge, NJ.
Andrew Lubow took a new position as assistant treasurer and control officer at Bank of America’s Barclay Street office in Manhattan. He often runs into Maureen Naper, who is doing well and enjoying life in the Big Apple.
Wendy Savage-Caprio lives in Plymouth, MA, with husband Bill, daughter Brook, 3, and a yellow Lab named Ben. After graduation Wendy taught in a two-room school house in Jay, VT, and completed a master’s in special education from Boston College. She has been teaching various grades in Rockland, MA, since. Wendy enjoys vacation time for skiing and boating with her family.
Carol Spencer-Coons’s 16-year-old is following in his mother’s footsteps and becoming a teacher. This summer he worked with second-graders at a local community center and will tutor students during the school year.
After three years in Williamsburg, VA, Deborah Herzog Humphries and family are back in northern Virginia, in a house they are renovating. Daughter Catherine is 14, and son Thomas is 12. Deborah is looking for work in the advertising field.
In 2004 Tina Brescia finished a doctorate in music therapy at NYU. She worked for 15 years as a music therapist with hospitalized children in pediatric neurology at the NYU Medical Center and then Beth Israel Medical Center. She is now a co-director of the Music Therapy Institute at the Music Conservatory of Westchester in White Plains, NY, and an adjunct faculty member of NYU’s music therapy department. She recently moved from NYC to Norwalk, CT, where she lives with partner Phyllis and their children Chaz, 7, and Nia, 4.
Warren, NJ, resident Susan Mroczynski Valentino adopted a greater Swiss mountain dog. Children Carl, 10, Olivia, 9, and Sophia, 5, are absolutely smitten with Duke. Susan (email@example.com) would love to hear from classmates in the tri-state area.
In 2006 Liz Cowey LaCause received a master’s in nonprofit management from Regis University in Denver. While on a family trip to Washington, DC, she ran into Rayona Taylor Bennett and her husband and their two children. They had a great time together. Liz’s husband, John, is a news cameraman and editor at WNBC. Liz is executive director for the Staten Island Chamber Music Players. Daughter Sara is 13, and son Michael is 10.
Valerie Bugey Bowman (firstname.lastname@example.org) lives in Villanova, PA, with son RJ, 12, and
daughter Claudia, 9, both of whom attend the Shipley School. Valerie is a commercial real-estate broker with CB Richard Ellis, specializing in acquisition and disposition work for large corporate real estate worldwide. Over the years she’s kept in touch with Leslie Evans Bradley, Frank Lippo, and Dean Taraborelli ’84.
Barney Straus is a psychotherapist in private practice with Working Sobriety, an outpatient treatment program. He will be a speaker at the 2008 American Group Psychotherapy Conference in Washington, DC. Barney lives in Evanston, IL, with wife Nancy and son Graham, 10.
Aimee Salvatore Adams (AimeeSalvatore@yahoo.com) and husband Jeff welcomed their first child, William, to the world on June 22 after almost 30 hours of labor. The family and golden retriever Roxy live in Long Beach, CA, where Aimee is a human-resources manager and recruiter for skin-care company Obagi.
Laura Kagan Marks has been married for 19 years. She and husband Jim live in Newton, MA, with children Daniel, 16, Jenna, 14, and Jillian, 10. Laura is director of marketing for CampSource, a summer-camp and teen summer-program advisory and placement service.
In California Michael Goldman is an art director in the film industry in Los Angeles and San Francisco. He also designs and builds modern furniture in his studio in Oakland. He still hangs out with Mark Walhimer.
