Allison Gray Costa
Lauren Messina’s first novel, Frozen Tide, was published this year. She traveled the country doing book-signings this summer, beginning in Arizona, then Chicago, and ending up on the West Coast. Check it out at www.frozentide.com. Stephen Schwarz administers her Web site.
Grant Copeland and wife Meghan recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary and the birth of son Adam. He joins sister Ella, 2, who absolutely adores her little brother, and the family’s yellow Lab, Bono. Grant is VP of design at the Worx Group, where he heads marketing communications for clients including AT&T, FedEx, IBM, and Holiday Inn.
Kelly O’Leary married David Schultz on August 17 in Medford, MA. Catherine Duffy was a member of the bridal party. Kelly is an eighth-grade English teacher; Dave is an actuary for Fidelity Investments. The couple met while rowing at the Riverside Boat Club in Cambridge, MA.
Julie Gedalecia married Robin Adams ’00 at the Batcheller Mansion in Saratoga on July 7. Attending the small ceremony and reception were Kim Hoffman Kauffman, Jon Kauffman ’96,
Ruth Yutiamco Baxter, Rob Baxter ’98, Dan Haar ’00, Lena Ghaleb ’00, Christina Campagna ’05, and dance faculty member Debra Fernandez. Julie is co-owner and artistic director of the Saratoga City Ballet and teaches in Skidmore’s dance department. Robin is assistant director of leadership activities at Skidmore. They spent their honeymoon in Argentina.
