Barbara Stroock Kaufman has been working on the fifth in her series of dragon sculptures.

Jean Abrams Roberts moved to Youville House, an assisted-living facility in Cambridge, MA. She finds it “a happy place with interesting people” and has made lots of new friends.

Mildred Wolff Margles moved to a senior residence in North Andover, MA. She has a two-bedroom apartment with two baths and a full kitchen. She can cook for herself or go to the dining room. There are lots of activities, and she takes her needlepoint with her most everywhere she goes.

Jane Griswold Mensel
is still shopping, cooking, taking day trips, gardening, and driving. She is the great-grandmother of five. She spends a lot of time reading and has especially enjoyed The Circular Staircase, Snowy Flowers, and the Secret Fan.

Mary Heber Mathews lives in an assisted-living facility in Madison, CT, a community she loves and has known for many years. At age 90, she walks with a cane but still drives and gets out with friends.

Regina Wilson Barringer’s daughter wrote that her mother, age 90, lives in Monroe, NC, and is doing well except for some memory problems. Three children live nearby, one is in Florida, and another is in Charleston, SC; she also has 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She would love to hear from classmates.

The class sends sympathy to the family of Elisabeth Hull Lewis, who passed away in December.
I enjoyed a riverboat cruise from Bucharest to Amsterdam this spring.
