Mary Jane Christie MacVicar celebrated her 70th with friends by “strolling the boardwalk, riding bikes, and shopping in between bridge marathons.” She was remarried in 2000 to John Myers but is keeping her own name.

In May I celebrated my 70th birthday with a trip to NYC to join a group of longtime, very dear friends; the trip was a special gift from my husband, Alan. On hand to help me blow out a significant number of candles were Barbara Block Zwick, Suzanne Elsesser, and Mary Kelchner Lindner. Unfortunately, Judy Lowe Plourde was unable to make it, and she was certainly missed. Happily, Betty Garman Robinson surprised me with a phone call to say that she was on her way to join the fun. In June, Alan and I took our entire family of 13 to Club Med in Ixtapa, Mexico. Since our birthdays are just two days apart, it felt as if we were celebrating for the entire week. It was a special time for us to be together and truly left us all with memories to last a lifetime.
