Laurinda Finelli lives in Old Greenwich, CT. A former retail-merchandizing director at Vogue and Elle magazines, she joined Time Inc. in custom publishing. Three years ago she joined Greenwich Magazine as special-events director. Laurinda was forced to take several months off to recuperate from spinal surgery. Luckily, several months prior she had reconnected with Susie Thompson McNamee ’75, who graciously filled in as a consultant in her absence. Reconnecting with Susie led to a fun get-together with Dee Dee Dewis Thompson. Laurinda reports, “We laughed so hard reminiscing that the manager came over and said we were having way too much fun and they were taping our conversation.” Laurinda also stays in touch with Alan Mark, Georgia Little, Sydney Camp Patten, Cameron MacMillan Thornton, and Liz Flavin (all of whom were a huge support during the surgery process), and recently spoke with Thomas King Flagg, who is doing well and recently returned from Los Angeles to Frenchtown, NJ.
