Aimee Salvatore Adams and husband Jeff welcomed son William on June 22, 2007; he arrived after a 30-hour journey into the world. The family lives in Long Beach, CA, where Aimee (aimeeadams73@yahoo.com) is a human-resources manager at Herbalife International. She is still in touch with Nancy Levenson, Jennifer DeRosa Collins, Wendy Bryant Fasciano, Johanna Kaplan Bryan, Jill Rousso, and Kim Armstrong Force.
Megan Kelley Hall’s debut novel, Sisters of Misery, a modern-day gothic novel, is the first publication in Kensington Press’s young-adult line. It features a secret clique of the most popular, powerful girls in school, at the heart of a murder mystery.
Carol Murphy-Huban is glad to say that she is well. She saw Joell Carotta in February. They were looking forward to doing a day at the racetrack over the summer. Joell keeps her updated on Aimee Adams Salvatore ’95, who just had a baby boy and purchased a new home in California. Carol was at a party with Andre Cook ’94, who had a very successful season coaching basketball at Hudson Valley. At home, Carol and Yordan are excited that son Christopher, 5, will be starting kindergarten in the fall, and daughter Erin, 3, will be in preschool. They expected to have a very busy summer and spend lots of time at White Horse Beach in Plymouth, MA.
Nicole Basso (nicolebasso1@gmail.com) spent the summer training, fundraising, and preparing for the 26.2-mile Avon Walk for Breast Cancer held October 4–5 in NYC.
Jamee Aldous Miller lives in Parkesburg, PA, with husband Duane and kids Sadie, 4, and Bennett, 1.
James McCarroll, a partner in Reed Smith’s financial industry group, was named by Turnarounds & Workouts magazine as an Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyer—one of 12 bankruptcy specialists under age 40 that it names each year. James is credited with replacing the former directors and liquidators of two Bear Stearns structured-credit overseas hedge funds, and now represents the new institutional investor-selected liquidators. He has also served as counsel to a creditors’ committee member in the Fortunoff bankruptcy case, and as counsel to a secured lender in Synova Healthcare.
