In May Mara Feld (maraf1224@yahoo.com) graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a PhD in toxicology and began a postdoctoral research position at Boston University in July.

In Los Angeles Scott Newell has been working for the Museum of Contemporary Art for the last seven years. He has spent the last two seasons refereeing for the Los Angeles Derby Dolls, an all-women’s banked-track roller-derby league, as well as other area derby leagues.

Kristen Blaker ’01 and Jeb Gorham were married in Tango Mar, Costa Rica, in June 2007. In attendance were 25 family members and friends including Josh Gorham ’00, Kaity Macy ’01, Devorah Pearson ’01, and Sam Loeb. Kristen and Jeb live in Fort Collins, CO, with two dogs and a cat. She is a junior-high art teacher in Fort Collins, and he is director of education for Peak Pilates, based in Boulder.

Amanda Cremona Conlan and husband Mike welcomed baby Anna to the family on January 29. She joins three brothers.

Emily Klavun is pursuing a master’s in opera studies at Purchase Conservatory. In June she sang at a German opera and art-song festival in Bavaria. She lives in White Plains, NY, and spent the summer traveling in Europe and enjoying Cape Cod with her boyfriend.

Still in Paris, Meg Obenshain is starting to think she may never move back to the States. She began a new job last August at France Home Finance, helping foreigners finance their property purchases there. Kirsten Hunt has been to visit her several times, and they’ve even run a couple races together in Paris.

Alexander Adell lives in San Francisco, where he works for Pixar. He loves the city and says, “Work is really wild but oddly comfortable, considering my boss is Chris Burrows ’96, and I carpool with Colin Thompson ’00.” Alex is excited to have worked on Wall-E, which was released this summer.

Greg Johnson lives in Manhattan with Jon Spiegel and is a production editor at SparkNotes. He is writing an oatmeal-cookie cookbook and is posting recipes and blogging at oatmealcookie.typepad.com.

Shannon Earley married Scott Iamarone in July 2007. Bridesmaids were Leslie Worsley Chang and Mary Ferris Neiderhelman. Also in attendance were Geoff Chang, Megan Hnatow, and Kate Singleton Blehar.
