Alums in finance careers can grab a lifeline at Skidmore. The alumni and career offices have free information resources, like the Career Advisor Network, Skidmore’s group in LinkedIn, and the Skidmore Business Network run by alumni in several major cities. For more, contact the career services office.

Politics and public service will be the focus of a Scope Quarterly coming soon. Watch for news of alumni politicians, faculty thoughts on elections, student voting habits, and more. Got a story to contribute? Contact us!

Bikes, hikes, and automobiles were in the spotlight recently as Sustainable Skidmore promoted “Leave Your Car at Home” week. The student cycling club offered free bike maintenance, the GIS Center created a carpooling map to help employees find colleagues in their neighborhoods who could share rides, and more people walked or hopped city buses to and from campus. Stay tuned for more on Skidmore’s green initiatives.
