Cindy Hartwig Gyorgy took her whole family (two sons, their wives, and her six grandkids, ages 5–25) to Bergen, Norway, her father’s hometown. She says, “It was a wonderful meeting of first, second, and third cousins for a glorious, never-to-be-forgotten week!”

Myrna Benson Quilty and her husband, Jack, attended the graduation of their grandson, a physical engineer, from MIT. The drive from California was beautiful. Jack keeps busy as crew chief for overseas race cars, and grandson Tyler is a crew chief in training. Myrna quilts, reads, and counts over her blessings.

Marion Bolton Northrup traveled to Bolivia and Peru earlier this year. Highlights of the trip were Lake Titicaca anda six-night Amazon cruise. In March son David graduated with honors from the University of Chicago business school, where he earned his second MBA. The Northrups attended a wonderful black-tie ball at the Museum of Natural History. In June they watched two granddaughters graduate from high school and followed up with a Black Sea cruise to Romania (including Transylvania), Bulgaria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. They have a grandson in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Last year painter Nancy Dalton Rogal held three one-woman shows in Lake George, NY; proceeds went to three conservancy groups for a major wetlands restoration project. Nancy’s family and friends visit all summer. The Rogals’ granddaughter was married on the beach in May.
Nancy Colway Cammann’s grandson teaches history at Choate; his mentor is Nancy Moore Foster’s son Tom.

I (Dori Harbach Patten) have decided to pass the baton on to a new class secretary. If anyone is interested in this fun position, please contact Mary Monigan at mmonigan@skidmore.edu.
