Phyllis Manning Ellis is sorry to have missed our 55th reunion. Her husband, Win, died suddenly in January 2007, after a wonderful family Christmas. Although his death was unexpected, he had been battling Lewy Body Disease for six years. She misses his kindness and wonderful sense of humor. He would appreciate the beagle she adopted at an animal shelter, who she named Winston.

Grace Chidester Oldham had hoped to make it to Reunion but couldn’t, due to husband Art’s poor health. Bunny would love to see anyone traveling through North Carolina and hopes classmates sang “long and loud” at our 55th.
