Adele Albrecht Wakefield-Gren visited Monique Villedrouin Salgado when she was in San Francisco last summer. Adele, sister of Barbara Albrecht Shaw ’56, was attending niece Adele Shaw’s wedding.

Jan Wells Butler is now Jan Wells Meads, having married Frank Meads in October 2008. They live in Frank’s Fairfax, VA, home, where they are adding on and converting it to one level. They traveled to Hawaii and northern Europe recently. When the addition is completed, Frank and Jan want to set off to Italy.

We are saddened by the loss in March of Dorie Kilpatrick Frey in a terrible accident that caused severe brain trauma. She was a great friend of mine, and we had visited several times recently. Sue Hamilton MacCachran remembers that she and Dorie, who lived in North Hall, would skip out to Norton’s when they didn’t like the food being served in the dining hall.

We send our condolences to Susan Henderson Hendrix, who lost her mother last December.
