Peace-full protests

A T-shirt expresses the feelings of many Skidmore students, who held a peace rally just before the U.S. invasion of Iraq in March. The all-day event included a bake sale, movies, poster-making, and petition-signing. Also in March faculty, staff, and students joined a worldwide project to stage readings from Lysistrata, the classic Greek comedy about an antiwar protest. And Skidmore activists have been among the regulars at demonstrations and vigils in downtown Saratoga Springs.
