Mary Heber Mathews suffered several bouts of pneumonia last year, resulting in some lengthy hospital stays. A longtime resident of Boston’s Charles River Park, Jean Abrams Roberts volunteers for an arts program, serves the Boston Skidmore club, and spends time with daughter Susan.
