Cynthia Nichols Mutterperl and husband John are enjoying retired life in Wenham, MA. She enjoys volunteering for their church, taking knitting classes, and making jams and jellies. Her most treasured moments are spent with granddaughter Jasmine. Summer finds Cynthia and John sailing near the Cape. A retired physician, John continues sharing his medical expertise with an Indian tribe in New Mexico on five-week visits, during which Cynthia works at the Red Rock State Park Museum. They are both very fond of the people they serve there. Sadly, the couple lost their son, John Jr., in a car accident three years ago. Wynne Ludlow Mund and husband Peter fell in love with St. Barts after sailing the Caribbean and built a home there 27 years ago. Recently repatriated to the US, they now make their home in New Castle, DE, where they are happily renovating a two-century-old home. Winnie has gotten involved with the local historical society, working on their archives. She stays in touch with Ardythe Pearsall Killip, who is settling into an older house she bought in Nashua, NH, last fall. Jane Fulton Hess and husband Wendell moved into her familys 1795 Lake Champlain homestead in Chazy, NY, in 1995. Active in the Champlain Valley Choral Society, Jane is a substitute pipe organist at her church and is a volunteer docent at the Plattsburgh State Art Gallery. Joan Firmery went to Hawaii last summer. Stopping in California on the way home, she talked to Irene Greenberg Stern, who is still working and plans to attend our next reunion. Joan has also been in touch with Irene Robinson Garber, who is enjoying her grandchildren and life in Old Westbury, NY. Joan further reports that Betty Greenman Scharmann is in a square-dance group, teaches gardening to schoolchildren, and directs a childrens choir at her church in Navesink, NJ. Plandome, NY, residents Muriel Jorgensen Benisch and John have purchased a winter place at Ocean Ridge in Boynton Beach, FL. Many of Muriels high-school friends live nearby, and they are planning a big collective 70th birthday party. John is in real estate in NYC. Their four children are spread out around the country, but the familyincluding five grandchildren ages 10 to 17gathered over the holidays. The oldest grandchild competed in the US Youth Group Soccer Nationals and was on the winning team for the last two years. Muriel and John still get together with Margot Cahn Zales and Bill, who, Muriel claims, are as cute, as vivacious, and as much fun as ever. Muriel and Margot are still apt to break out in song, performing their two-person quartet.
