Tariq Khorma is the father of two beautiful girls: Samira, 9, and Selina, 6. He owns and operates several health clubs in Amman, Jordan, where he also runs a fitness-equipment distribution company. He looks forward to seeing everyone at Reunion and would love to hear from Skidmore friends at powerhut@nets.com.jo. On his trips to the US, Tariq visits good friends Farhad Shaikh-Bahai 83, a Manhattan dentist; Ahmet Sadikoglu, who lives in Istanbul, Turkey; Peter Santoro, an investment banker in NYC; and Ted Bernson 84 of Nashua, NH.
Guy Decker recently moved to a new home in West Linn, OR, with his wife, Kristina, and 16-month-old daughter Emily. Gweedo is a structural engineering manager, designing microelectronics and industrial facilities, and an avid surfer.
David Catalfimo and wife Nicole welcomed daughter Ella in October. The family lives in downtown Boston, where David is a managing director with Bear Stearns & Co.
April Niessen Flynn and Joe Flynn live in Bruchmuhlbach, Germany, where Joe is a physician specializing in hematology and oncology at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. April has been very busy as the mother of fourMargaret, 9, Samantha, 7, Joseph, 6, and Abigail, 3and enjoys her many travels throughout Europe.
John Eckert was promoted to commander (the Navy equivalent of lieutenant colonel) in the US Public Health Service and has been transferred from Arkansas to Washington, DC, where he is executive officer for the assistant secretary for health. John handles logistics and briefing, and is liaison to various agency directors. Last fall he led the Emergency Response Team Advance Element in Tallahassee, FL, coordinating federal medical services and supplies for communities hit by hurricanes. John and wife Michelle were guests at the dedication of the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, AR, in November. Aside from the miserable weather, he notes, the event was fun.
Jamie Clare is a partner in the law firm of Cole, Schotz, Meisel, Forman & Leonard in Hackensack, NJ. The Englewood resident holds a JD from the Pacific McGeorge School of Law and specializes in commercial, surety, and employment law.
In Brooklyn, NY, Teri West and husband Lee Silverman welcomed daughter Rachel last June; she joins brother Joshua, 2.
Ellen Bernard Taylor trains child-protection staff in a community-based care agency in Carrollton, GA. Son Chris, 12, keeps her on the go at home in Oviedo, FL.
