Jael Monney and her husband, an Italian citizen, welcomed first child Chiara in September. They live in Geneva, Switzerland, where Jael works part-time at a private bank as human resources assistant.
Brenna Cohen is a first-semester student in Columbia Universitys post-baccalaureate pre-med program, where she volunteers for a research project on HIV and diabetes by shadowing physicians in hospitals. Ive discovered the value of my government background. It enables me to see the connections between medical challenges and socioeconomic factors that face patients in rural and urban communities.
Sara Adelman married Daniel Ring in Brookline, MA, on October 16. She is a group sales associate at Broadway in Boston, a production company; she also is a lyricist who has written for two musicals. Her husband is an adjunct faculty member at Northeastern Universitys music department and musical director of the Improv Asylum theater, where the couple met.
Marcy Paisley Miller graduated from Kellogg School of Management with an MBA last June. She works in investment management at William Blair and Co. in Chicago, where she lives with husband Kevin and a black Lab named Trout.
Justin Demola and wife Jaime welcomed daughter Alexandra in January. Justin works for the Hills Mortgage and Finance Company in Martinsville, NJ.
Susan Rivers and Joe Jolly 98 were married in Saranac Lake, NY, in September 2003. Simon Fennell 98 (ordained for the day) officiated. The wedding party included Van Furniss 98, Jeremy Patuto 98, Emily Frieze, Sarah Landy, Emily Neff, and Kristin Harrison. Also in attendance were Kristyn Glass 98, Susan Danielson 98, Donovan Spamer 98, Todd Swedock 98, Tim Colleran, Jim Harrod 96, Alex Richman 96, Kathy Biggs LaBarge 95, Rachel Seligman 91, Rebecca Seligman 95, Katherine Braman 71, plus Skidmore professors Penny Jolly, Jay Rogoff, Hugh and Mary Ann Foley, Michael Arnush, Leslie Mechem, Pat Ferraioli, and Sandy Welter. Susan and Joe bought an old house in New Haven, CT, and are struggling through the renovation process (feel free to contact them at jollivers@comcast.net). She is finishing up her PhD in social psychology at Yale University and commutes to Saratoga each week to teach in Skidmores psychology department; he works in development at the Yale Peabody Museum and serves on New Havens Board of Aldermen.
