Skidmore alumni and parents sort 8,195 pounds of canned goods and other donated items at the Greater Boston Food Bank, chaired by Vicary Graham 82. More than twenty volunteersranging from recent grads to older-timersspent a couple of hours one December evening organizing beans, noodles, cereal, et al.enough for about 4,000 meals. Everyone worked hard and had a great time, with lots of conversation and laughter, reports event organizer Leila Joseffer 97. Skidmore has a long history of service to the community, so it makes perfect sense to me that the Boston alumni group includes the GBFB in its events schedule. Its fun, easy, and has tangible results. MTS
