Martina Hoff Dudgeon plays bridge, exercises, goes into NYC occasionally, and summers in Shelter Island, NY.
Emily MacLachlin Carl lives with one of her four daughters on a lake in Waccabuc, NY. She traveled to Chicago last fall to visit another daughter, and spent Christmas with the whole family at another daughter’s place in Acton, MA.
Karen Norvig Berry ’65 writes that her mother, Elinor Juch Norvig, suffered a seizure last June and has been in the nursing section of her retirement home since. Elinor’s sons visited from Alaska and Florida last summer. Karen and her husband live six miles from Elinor and see her frequently.
Charlotte Smith King has been ill and decided to move to Rochester, NY, to live with son David and his wife, Marsha. She would welcome cards from classmates.
Sadly we note the death of three classmates. Edith Latcher Smith and Laura Spencer died in September. We will long remember Edith’s good nature and hearty laughter. Laura, often busy with a project, always showed friendly concern for others. And Nellie Hegeman Teale, who died in November, loved sports and people—a good combination.
