Last year Jeanne Kimball Carrazzone and husband Al’s church youth group tapped 16 maple trees at their home and boiled up “the best syrup ever.” In November the same group did a lot of pruning and clearing to create five hiking trails. “We were inspired by two dogs that outran, outpulled, and outswam us,” reports Jeanne. She has been coping with emphysema for eight years and is glad to have a “caring and helping buddy” in Al.
