Three of Sandy Koch Prior’s five children are in banking: Carly is at State Street PLY Ltd. in Sydney, Australia; Candice lives in Dallas; and Brett is in Hawaii. Son Brandon is located near home in Huntington, Long Island, and Sandy’s youngest, Bryan, is a senior at Tufts. Sandy went to Shanghai on business with her husband and also travels to see her children. She is still working part-time for a school district and doing some private-duty nursing.

Sandy received a Christmas card from Sue Steele Isbell, who has nine grandchildren. She also received a card from a member of our freshman class whom you may remember from Furness: Mariko Okazaki, who moved to Tokyo with Masao and has two daughters and a granddaughter.

Marlene Cerrito Hewitt moved from Longboat Key to Jupiter, FL. She and husband Thomas spend six months there and six months in McLean, VA. Thomas sold his information-technology business but remains active on several boards of companies both public and private.

The Hewitts have four grandchildren—two in Menlo Park, CA, and two in New Canaan, CT.
Judy Farmer Fulton’s husband, Rufus, retired as CEO of Fulton Financial Corporation but remains active on several boards. They are animated about their six-week trip to New Zealand, Australia, and Tahiti.

Lee Cranshaw Rowan spent Christmas in Mexico to celebrate her 40th anniversary. Husband Michael sold his orthodontic practice and is now working just two days a week. Lee is trying to find him some skiing buddies so she can continue to have time in her studio. Several of her works are currently being shown in the new Carol Schwartz Gallery in Chestnut Hill, PA.

Lenore Bethka Wersten is pleased that her seriously ill grandchild was finally released from the hospital.

Susie Hess Hazelton reported the birth of her first grandchild. In her Christmas newsletter, Susie looked as young as ever.

Suzanne Delehanty retired as director of the Miami Art Museum. Her work there was featured in a December edition of the Miami Herald. Not letting any grass grow under her feet, Suzanne opened a company that provides strategic planning and management for initiatives that bring art, artists, and communities together in Miami. Suzanne Delehanty LLC serves museums, foundations, and other nonprofit organizations, as well as individuals and corporations.

In July Donna Campbell Zuckerman and husband Don moved to Northampton, MA, after 30 years in Westchester County, NY. Both retired, they moved north to be closer to son Ethan, 32, and daughter Elizabeth, 28. Their downtown condo means they can walk to stores, movies, etc., and they enjoy auditing courses at Smith College, volunteering, and trying the many area restaurants. Donna wonders if there are any classmates in the area.

Retired bookseller Emily Gilman Hayden attended a Maine vs. UMass hockey game with husband John, Nancy Schwanda Kida, and Andy and Anne Dubraska Britt. The Britts follow Maine hockey (victorious in this match) wherever it goes.

As of January I am officially retired from the federal government, hence the change in e-mail address below. I am also launching a new business, OWCP Claims Consulting LLC, pertaining primarily to complex occupational-disease claims for workers’ compensation by federal employees and postal workers (such as cardiac and psychiatric claims). My clients are lawyers who take such cases.
