Nancy Holmes Schumaker and husband Tom enjoy visiting their children and grandchildren. Son Sam and wife Kelly live close by in Lancaster, PA, with a 4-year-old son and a year-old daughter. Daughter Sally is a physician’s assistant. Son Davis is loving life in Colorado. The Colorado air grabbed him, and he doesn’t want to come back—or inside!”

Christine Neill sent some examples of her paintings that were exhibited at the Maryland Institute College of Art in November. She teaches in the painting and foundation departments of MICA’s post-baccalaureate certificate program. Another exhibit with her work opened at the Gallery AA/B in Boston in February. A critic notes that Christine “reconstructs luminous images of plant life, creating layered compositions of seductive, sometimes ghostly works.” You can view her works at www.Christineneill.com.

After 25 years of suburban living in Baltimore City, MD, Bailey Evans Fine and husband moved to a townhouse downtown on the harbor. “We are enjoying the energy of the city and its new young residents,” says Bailey. Her husband represents Baltimore developers, and Bailey is hard at work on her boss’s run for the US Senate. Their daughter finished a master’s at Bank Street College and is a language specialist and science resource teacher at PS 161 in NYC. Their son is promotions manager for FUZE, an infused-waters beverage company; he lives in Hoboken.

Jane Charlotte Nordli decided to make “the wild leap into the unknown” by retiring “early” this June after logging 30 years in public-school education. She hopes to move into higher education now and is working part-time as an online coach for Harvard, teaching a framework called TFU. Jane sees Michelle Cherney Gillett often and says, “We both are grandmothers of two and are completely loving the experience.”
