Pam Richardson Swensen and I got together for our annual NYC lunch in December. Kathy Kurtz Gregg joined us, and fortunately we did not have a blizzard to contend with this year. Pam was named executive director of the Executive Women’s Golf Association.
Last summer Jayne Young and husband Matthew visited Alison Sandor in Connecticut, where they sailed Alison’s boat on Long Island Sound. Alison (and her dog Kellogg) also race competitively in various regattas. The Youngs also attended the Sandor family’s annual BBQ. Jayne adds that she had fun seeing everyone at our 25th reunion last year.
Nancy McKeever Wareham-Gordon introduced Karen Schubert to William Ramirez in 2004. Six months later Karen and William became engaged. A June wedding is planned, in conjunction with a family cruise in Bermuda.
Pam Shaw and husband survived Hurricane Katrina, although her dental office and his architectural firm were both destroyed. Fortunately, their home stayed dry and their families did well. They are busy restoring their businesses and thank everyone from the Skidmore community who stayed in touch during the storm.
The “People & Projects” piece about Cassie Roche Fox (and the Foxes’ rare-books collection at Skidmore) in the winter Scope contained an error regarding her degree. Cassie earned a BA in English, and she minored in theater and studied pre-law. She and husband Harvey own N. Fox Jewelers in downtown Saratoga Springs.
