Teri West and husband Lee Silverman welcomed daughter Rachel in 2004. She joined brother Joshua in Park Slope, Brooklyn, where the Wests opened a triathlon sports store (JackRabbit Sports) in 2003. Teri reports, “Our second store debuted in January, near Union Square in Manhattan. I also still manage and develop middle-school programs part-time for a nonprofit education organization. I recently bumped into Mark Brennan ’86 at a Prospect Park playground with his wife and daughter.” Teri would love to connect with ’85-era Skidmorites living
in the Slope.

Tom Brandt and wife Sue traveled to Hawaii for the holidays. Tom attended a New York Giants game with Andy Engel, and the Giants won.

After living in Florence, Italy, from 1984 to 1997, Nancy Civetta established a public-relations firm in Cambridge, MA. Civetta Comunicazioni, which specializes in the culinary world, employs Jo Lipstadt ’99 and Marissa Stein Berenson ’05.

Michael Tepedino, wife Kerry, and boys William, 5, Matthew, 3, and Alex, 2, live in Rye, NY. Mike is a partner at HFF LP, a mortgage banking company based in NYC.

Kirsten Hube Sweeney wanted to clarify that although she does have a business that manufactures tomato sauces, her husband is not involved with it. “He is, and always has been, in the bond business. We wouldn’t be able to pay the mortgage if we were relying on my paycheck.” Kirsten started Cooking Solutions LLC, based in Old Greenwich, CT, two years ago after spending time at home with her daughters, ages 10 and 12. The sauces are made in New Haven and sold in 12 local Connecticut markets; five Balducci’s stores, including Lincoln Square in Manhattan; and a few local Whole Foods stores, all in the fresh or refrigerated section.
