Jena Rotheim married Paul Cabral on October 2 in Saratoga Springs. In attendance were sister Amy Rotheim Sullivan ’90, Kristen Zebrowksi Stavisky ’92, Todd Noonan ’92, Anne Marie Davis, and Kim Croston. Also present were Jena’s father Roy Rotheim (Skidmore economics professor), Phyllis Roth (English), Mehmet Odekon (economics) and Mary Crone Odekon (physics), Jim Settel (former Harder Professor of Business Administration), and Amelia Lewis (assistant to the chair of the department of economics). The rehearsal dinner was held at Skidmore’s Surrey-Williamson Inn and featured a wedding band that included Garland Nelson ’97—“truly a Skidmore-inspired weekend,” says Jena. She practices business litigation and family and probate law in Boston.
As of this past winter, Terry Mullane is a field services manager (mid-Atlantic states) for Computer Sciences Corporation. He lives on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, where he is renovating his second Victorian row house.

Jen Krug O’Leary and husband Sean welcomed son Ian last May after the “shortest labor possible—just over 3 hours start to finish,” reports Jen. Ian joins sisters Lauren, 4, and Emma, 2, in “making our lives really, really busy.” Jen stays at home with the kids, while Sean has his own business doing hardwood floors. The family lives in Hackettstown, NJ.
Dave and Beth Steingard Murphy live in Natick, MA. He is general counsel for senator Mark Montigny, and she is a special-ed teacher at the Hunnewell school in Wellesley. The couple welcomed daughter Emma last February, to the delight of big sister Alexandra. Beth can’t wait to see everyone at our 15th reunion.
Alex Forsyth and wife Chloe live in a cottage in the village of Essendon, 20 miles north of London. The couple married last September, with Russell Forester ’95 and wife Sally Hamlin Forester ’95 in attendance, and honeymooned in Kenya on Lamu Island, where they witnessed the wildebeast migration in the Masai Mara. Alex still travels a lot, which he says is his “passion in life.” After returning from 18 months in Africa in 1997, he worked in IT and telecom for five years. He got bored and went backpacking to Boliva and Peru for a couple of months with Chloe, and hiked Machu Picchu and the Salar de uni Desert, which was tough. In 2001 he was invited to help crew a yacht from the UK to the Canary Islands. The boat almost sank when the crew was caught out in Hurricane Felix. Alex manages five camping and expedition travel stores called Nomad Travel Clinic.
In November Jennifer Kniffin Jones and husband Ted welcomed daughter Penelope; she joins brother Tyler, 11.

Towhee Veronesi-Shupka had “a fabulous 2005” with husband Alex and their two Labrador retriever “children,” Marka and Terka. They began construction of their new home on “a hillside dream location with a pristine view of the greater Binghamton, NY, skyline (yes, there really is one!).” The construction process was “a blast,” and the couple is excited about not having to move again. They’ve already entertained Jackie Mann ’92 in their new digs and look forward to many visits from friends and family. Towhee, regional director for patient and family services for the eastern division of the American Cancer Society, says, “I love the organization, its mission, and the people I work with.”
Geoff Hunt teaches history and law at the Beacon School, an alternative public high school in NYC, where he is also an adjunct professor of English at John Jay College. He recently bought an apartment in Manhattan and is happily trying to figure out how to fill all the extra space.
