Sallie Walstrum Herman Bailey and her new husband moved to Mesa, AZ. Their summer
address is in Pinetop. Two of Sallie’s children and grandchildren live just a few miles from her;
her other daughter lives in Pinetop. Two grandsons are in the service; the third is hoping for a recommendation for Annapolis or the Air Force Academy. Her fourth grandson is 5 years old.
Sallie has taken up golf and loves it.

Marion Bolton Northrup had a wonderful trip to Scotland, England, and Wales. She spotted Queen Elizabeth, had tea at the Ritz in London and saw the musicals Mary Poppins and Billy Elliot, based on the movies. She was glad she took extra time in Edinburgh and London.

Sadly, Joan Pohlman O’Rourke’s husband, Dick, died in November. An installer and estimator
for Western Electric, he had recently worked as an independent electric contractor in the Saratoga area. He was a former instrumentation specialist for the Saratoga County Sewer District. Our condolences go out to Joan and her two daughters and five grandchildren.
