Betty Carpenter Evans sent news that Edith Barbour Lauver was honored for more than 20 years
of community service by Tucson’s Interfaith Coalition for the Homeless.

We have a star in our midst: Ann Thobae Diggs and husband Walter appeared in a short film written and produced by son Tom, a student at NYU’s Tisch School of the Performing Arts. Shot
in and around their retirement home on Cape Cod, Winterizing with Peg and Ed was completed
by a crew of six in about three days. Son Andy collaborated on an art show featuring Ann’s paintings and his photographs.

In October Lydia Pardo McMinn attended the Skidmore Athletics Hall of Fame awards ceremony, at which our own dear Joanna Davenport was posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame. Jody’s brother accepted the trophy on her behalf. Lydia declared that “Jody would have loved it.”

After a busy summer and fall visiting family and friends living throughout the US, Connie Kellert Goldstein and her physician husband, Don, are enjoying calmer days in the new year. The good doctor has given up performing major surgery and is curtailing his practice. They are looking forward to less traveling and more time together at home.

Last spring Sue Davis Tull and Bill spent three weeks touring China, followed by several summer weeks with children and grandchildren at their camp in the Adirondacks, where there is no electricity, TV, or cell phones. The campsite offers canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and hiking.
Sue says there is much to be gained from quiet evenings with family fun and board games.
