I have had one of those life-altering moments when your e-mail and calendar sinks into some
dark space, never to be recovered. If you sent me a class note and haven’t seen it printed, you have not been forgotten, just lost in cyberspace! Please resend your news.
After sending away the last of her three children, Betsy Groves Campo moved to Rowayton, CT. Daughter Katie, 21, is at Brown; Gigi, 18, attends Williams; and son Will, 15, is enrolled at Hotchkiss. Betsy visited with old friend Ginny Bleecker Russell in London this summer and sees
a lot of her sister and best friend Katie Groves Alverson ’74. Betsy’s niece Sarah Groves ’09 is a sophomore at Skidmore, taking full advantage of the plethora of opportunities available to her.
I had a great chance to see Ann Kuhn Levitan and her daughter Emily in Los Angeles last spring when they were checking out colleges. I still find it odd that so many of my college buddies have college-age children, while I have two 6-year-olds running around my house. I am leaving my
full-time faculty role in the school of education to become the associate dean of undergraduate programs at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. It’s a great opportunity, and I get to stay at this amazing (Rose Bowl–hosting) university!
