Former UK residents Sally Miller Wallace and family have returned to the States and are living in Houston, TX. She is seriously considering attending Reunion, hopefully with classmates Teresa Rath Christina of Essex Junction, VT, and Tamara Eldredge Blyth of Pittsford, NY. She hopes other old friends plan on attending as well.

Despite a lack of natural snow, Chuck Kaufman writes that his family is enjoying weekends in Waterville Valley, NH. Chuck speaks regularly with Eric Bloom, and they try to get together every month or so to take in a movie. Chuck also corresponds regularly via e-mail with Stassi Gans; they’ve enjoyed catching up over the past few months. Stassi enjoys living in California, although she does miss the change of seasons. “It’s been a lot of fun working on annual giving and reunion planning. I look forward to catching up with classmates at our 25th reunion. It will be great.”

After 12 years in NYC’s fashion industry, Elizabeth Bozer Augustus and family relocated to Jacksonville, FL, in 1994. Husband Joe is senior VP of external affairs for Swisher International. Since moving to Florida, Bitsi has kept busy with community and volunteer work, including the St. Johns Riverkeeper, and most recently as board president of the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus, a group of talented children ages 7–17 who serve as the designated children’s chorus of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. Bitsi and Joe have two daughters: Caroline, 18, and Kate, 15. Caroline is a senior voice major at a fine-arts magnet high school (where, incidentally, the director of the ballet department is Rhonda Stampalia ’81) and is immersed in the college search. She also hopes to make it to Reunion in June.

Bitsi stays in touch with a number of Skidmore friends, and speaks on the telephone almost daily with former college roommate Laurel Robinson White. Laurel and husband Knox, who live in Los Angeles, are the proud parents of Sawyer, born in 2005.

Stefania Ippolito Sakiotis lives in Luxembourg. Her 13 years in Europe prompted a career change. After spending three years with an international relocation company serving clients in Greece and Luxembourg, she became a freelance consultant this past fall—“very interesting and challenging,” she says. She spends the rest of her time chauffeuring her 8-year-old twins to extracurricular activities. The family spent Christmas in Luxembourg and New Year’s in Davos, Switzerland, where they enjoyed skiing in one of the few places in Europe with snow. Although she cannot
make it to Reunion, Stefania sends her best to those who attend!

In July Judy Katz Esbit moved back home to Tucson, AZ, with husband Scott and sons Simon,
10, and Brandon, 6. The couple sold the southern California health-food store they operated for
the past eight years. Judy attended an alumni event in November, catching up with Joel Bresler, another Tucson resident. Judy and Lisa Tesar Capretta can’t wait to be roommates again at Reunion and catch up with friends for a fantastic weekend.

Sally Miller Wallace and her family live in Houston, TX.

Susan Fachini Misani lives in Italy, and her older son Nicholas ’09 attends Skidmore. He will be returning to Italy two weeks prior to Reunion, so she isn’t likely to be in Saratoga to catch up with classmates. She typically spends mid-July to late August in the US.
