Sarah Winslow married Andrew Bowe in September 2005 at Sarah’s childhood church in South Glens Falls, NY. Michael Coleman ’01 was the vocal soloist at the ceremony. In May 2006 Sarah received a PhD in sociology from the University of Pennsylvania. She is an assistant professor in the department of sociology and anthropology at Clemson University in South Carolina.

Brigid-Ann DiBella married Matthew Gold in Long Island on September 16. Courtney Alperin ’99 was maid of honor. Christy Lewis ’99 and newlyweds Brad Saks and Kate Cosgriff ’02 were also in attendance. Brigid-Ann works at a venture capital firm in NYC, and Matt is a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch.

Alison Fox had paintings on exhibit at the group show Abstract at the Mitchell, Innes, and Nash Gallery in NYC. A second solo show opened at ATM gallery, also in NYC, in February.
Alyssa Porter married Ryan Griffin on June 3 at a lighthouse on Cape Cod. Brian Kelley was in attendance. The newlyweds purchased a townhouse in south Boston. A German shepherd puppy recently joined the family.

Aaron Simon received a master’s degree in sustainable international development from Brandeis University. He lives in Berkeley, CA, where he works for a nonprofit called the Seva Foundation (www.seva.org), addressing issues of global poverty. Aaron expresses his creative side by showing his hand-blown glass work in galleries throughout the country. His work can be viewed at www.aaronsimon.com.

Aaron Pikcilingis married Laura Burnes on August 26 in Gardiner, ME. Cows hung around and watched the outdoor ceremony, delicious food was eaten, and the Skidmore crowd danced the night away—even after the newlyweds retired for the evening. Those in attendance included Dan Mortara, Sara Juli, Mike Cornish, Sarah Myers, Jo Sorrell, Brad Richards, Nick and Liz Saladino Mazzurco ’01, Colin Thompson, Brad Farran, Nicola Fordwood, Richie Kern, Alec Brewster, Jamie Burnes ’97, Ryan Makuck, Marcella Marchand ’01, Abby Witt, Allison Kupfer, Dave Ingraham, Zach Pusch ’01, Aidan and Emily Donnis McCann ’99, Jon Preston ’99, Leah Bokenkamp ’99, and Mike Rozinsky ’99.

Greg Mitnick completed his MFA in film production at NYU, where he focused on cinematography and directing. After photographing 28 films, including a feature documentary on NYC’s Stuyvesant High School, he shot an hourlong documentary in Iceland and a commercial produced in Beijing, China. He traveled to the south of Spain and back to Iceland to photograph two short narrative films over the winter.

Jeremiah Frei-Pearson left the law firm of Kaye Scholer, where he spent three years as an associate and twice won the pro-bono award for working with John Howley ’80 to secure relief for a client on death row and for winning several social-security cases. Currently an attorney at Children’s Rights, a national watchdog advocate for abused and neglected children, he is living in Queens.
He stays in touch with Carlos Recio, Rovin Recio, Lester Pimentel, Will Garre, and Curtis Morrow. He says despite our advancing years, Lester still can’t beat him at basketball. Jeremiah welcomes e-mail at jfp@stanfordalumni.org, especially from people interested in children’s issues.

Matthew Tebo married Jennifer Carlson on the island of Kauai, HI, on September 29. Cornell Woolridge made a 10-hour flight to attend the ceremony. Jenn practices law at the firm of Rehfuss, Liguori and Associates in Latham, NY, while Matt continues to act as assistant counsel to the majority leader in the New York State Assembly.

Daniel Virkstis is a consultant for a municipally operated ski area in the Chartreuse region
of Isere, Rhone-Alpes, France. He moved there two years after earning an MBA in the City
of Grenoble. Recently relocated to Washington, DC, Daniel welcomes e-mail at virkstis@hotmail.com.

Lucas Natali is associate director of the Charles Cowles Gallery in NYC. Lucas recently ran into former Skidmore art professor John Moore and enjoyed catching up.
