In December Debbie Swartz Laden traveled east from her home in Sunnyvale, CA, to attend her brother’s 80th birthday party in White Plains, NY. While there, she visited Enid Kay Schiff, whom she had not seen in more than 15 years. Debbie celebrated her 92nd birthday at a restaurant in Manhattan. In California she stays busy with theater, a lecture series, classes, and bridge. Her doctors say her health is remarkable, but she says she herself is “not always convinced.”
