Connie was accompanied by 12 members of her family, including great-niece Julie Lutz ’05. The group had had such a good time at Julie’s graduation that they all decided to meet again for Connie’s 70th. Dot lives near Connie’s daughter and her husband, who made all the travel arrangements for the ’37 classmates, including wheelchairs, which made getting around campus easier. Connie enjoyed staying in the new Northwoods Village apartments and says, “We were treated like royalty and came away feeling very good that we were graduates of Skidmore.” They met President Glotzbach and wife Marie, who were “welcoming, friendly, and clearly a great asset” to the college.
