Our big 60th reunion is now history, but thank goodness for the memories that remain. I had a great time but was sorry to have to leave before the dedication of our gift to the Tang Museum of the handicapped chair lift, the Memorial Croquet Tournament in Emmy’s memory, and other activities. Special thanks to our couples who came to Reunion, including Nettie Ruland West and Bob, Jean McNulty McCurdy and Richard, Joan Schimpf Root and Stanley, Mary Jane Ullman Getty and Thomas, Georgene Mulliner Klims and Richard, and Dottie Smith Taggett and Paul. It was so nice to have these men join us. As Martha Ward Carver led us in the old pop songs and the Alma Mater, it was great to hear the men’s voices.
On a sad note, Priscilla Forrest Crosson died just prior to Reunion; daughter Beverly called from Wisconsin to let me know.
I also heard from Jerry Lehmann Moats, in Lebanon, NH, about the sudden death of son Derek in Massachusetts. So many of us, ourselves healthy in our 80s, have lost children.
