Toni MacDonald-Fein and Adam Fein ’95 announce the birth of son Nathaniel; he joins sister Tess, 2.
Carrie Baker Batzle was married in August to John, an engineer. The couple lives in Newport, RI.
Sarah Wight O’Connell, husband Bo O’Connell ’95, and their children Caity, 5, and Andrew, 2, live in Sherborn, MA. They see Jessica Deyesso Mihalchik, husband Jeff Mihalchik ’95, and their girls Charlotte, 5, and Hailey, 2, as often as they can.
Cassandra Barry is a textile designer in Los Angeles. She and husband Joel Stein are renovating parts of their home in the Hollywood hills.
Jasmin Keramaty and husband Paul MacNeil live in Littleton, MA, with sons Owen, 2, and Callum, 4 months. Jasmin has been a veterinarian at the Andover Animal Hospital for the past four years.
Wendell Arnold welcomed twins Emma and Lilla in 2005 and son Samuel in 2006. Emma’s godfather is Phil Catera.
Wendy Glover Stewart and husband Greg welcomed daughter Genevieve (Gigi) on January 1, 2007; she joins sister Madeleine, 4. Wendy and Greg attended the wedding of Katrina Bates to Peter Madden in January 2007 in Vermont; also there were Vanessa Prizeman Frost, Carrie Hubbard Williman, and John Williman. Wendy loves being a full-time stay-at-home mom.
Kelly Owens-Moon, husband Tim, and children Cooper, 3, and Ella, 18 months, love life in Colorado Springs, CO, despite a few cold spells and snow storms. Kelly teaches high-school art, and Tim is in the US Air Force. Kelly trained for and ran in the American Discovery Trail marathon that takes place in Colorado Springs each Labor Day. She does much of her training with the children in tow in a double jogger. “My son heckles me constantly, saying, ‘Faster, Mommy, faster!’” Happily, Kelly came in first place, which caused a great deal of excitement for her students.
Bill Schultz and wife Bonnie moved to Boone, NC, from Louisville, KY, in February. Bill is a catalog librarian at Appalachian State University and would love to hear from Skidmore folks.
Bill Kambas and wife Ariadne’s two boys are a delight. “It is great to rediscover the world (Rudolph, Frosty, and The Sound of Music) through their eyes.” Bill is practicing law in the area of tax planning for international transactions and alternative investments. Despite the long hours, he likes the work. He is also involved with modern and contemporary art markets—for personal interest and on behalf of some of his clients. The family lives in Fairfield, CT.
Matthew Schrag married Leah Rosen in NYC in 2006. Phil Powell served as best man, and Joe “Syd” Gomes, Emily West, Matt Fleming, Chris Young, Tyler Maheu ’97, Rob Rossi, and Luke Thomas were also in attendance. The couple lives in Brooklyn, NY.
Kate Weldon LeBlanc and husband Joe joyfully welcomed daughter Sophie into their family on August 15. They live in Boston, where Kate is community-relations manager at Children’s Hospital. She says, “I waited 30 years for a Red Sox championship, and Sophie got one in her first year of life—but that’s fine by us!”
