Dan Arnold (darns007@aol.com) and his wife welcomed son Ryan on November 20; he joins sister Alycia. Dan reports that everyone is happy and healthy and enjoying the lack of sleep.

Asuka Takita graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine from the University of
Nairobi in 2005. He is now involved in a nonprofit veterinary extension effort and a
large-carnivore program in Kenya’s world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve (http://wildlifedirect.org/blogAdmin/asuka/). The program is exploring new methods of controlling predators (lions, leopards) that are causing livestock damage. Partially funded by grants from the Anne K. Taylor Fund, Asuka is interested in helping secure more grants through the organization. Alumni interested in supporting this effort can contact him at drasuka@swiftkenya.com.
