He considers it a blessing, given her physical deterioration. He was inspired to write after seeing a Skidmore plaque on her wall and a copy of Scope Quarterly next to a phone directory. “She really loved Skidmore, and those years in college provided her with lifelong friends and great memories.” We send condolences to Jim and the Pontone family, including grand-niece Suzanne Pontone Schaaff ’85.
